WinX Cell Phone Video Converter is a video converter designed to make converting video files for playback on cell phones an easy task. It makes use of conversion profiles to help the user decide what format settings to use. The application can output MP4, 3GP, WMV, and MP3 files.
The user interface isn't precisely pretty, but it works. At the top, there is some on-screen help that details the 3 simple steps necessary to convert a file. Below that are seven tabs that contain specific conversion profiles. There are four tabs for cell phone brands: Android, Blackberry, Nokia, and iPhone. There are also two tabs for the video formats 3GP and MP4, and another tab that allows you to simply choose an audio format for conversion, which will discard the video and output only a music file. Inside each tab you can find the conversion profiles. There are profiles for the most popular cell phones. If your cell phone isn't listed, you can simply use the 3GP and MP4 tabs to create a standard file. It will likely play on your cell phone but you are going to need to do the configuration of the profile yourself.
All in all, despite the not-so-good-looking interface, this converter works and it has quite a few conversion profiles that should make converting video files for cell phone playback a breeze.
